*HIPSTEREO was created not long after my first music blog, Sixeyes, back in 2004. It has sat dormant for more than a few years which is what happened to Sixeyes eventually. Now I'm returning to music blogging with fresh rested ears and a new place to write about music that catches my attention. You'll also find the odd (sometimes very odd) album or song review and interviews with indie musicians. I've also written things for BetterPropaganda, The Torontoist, and Soundcheck magazine... and contributed content to the iLounge.
There are plans to once again begin posting the popular mp3 mixes known to Sixeyes readers... I just need to lay down cash for a web host.
B.T.W. I've started re-posting pieces I've spent time writing (such as interviews and album reviews) from Sixeyes. I had no luck at all importing the close to 3,000 posts, so it's cut and paste to Hipstereo.
